Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled the new Mercedes-AMG A
45 S 4MATIC+ . The sporty saloon will be available in India through the CBU
router and is expected to be priced around Rs 70 to Rs 80 lakh. The vehicle is
powered by a 2-litre, inline, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that
produces a peak power of 421hp and a peak torque of 500Nm.
The engine is mated to an 8 speed Ducal Clutch
Transmission (DCT). The car can sprint 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds. It sits on 19
inches AMG cross-spoke forged wheels, painted in matt black with high-sheen rim
flange. It gets performance brakes with red painted calipers.
With a strikingly sporty design the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S
4MATIC+ has a distinctive front apron, an AMG-specific radiator trim and a bonnet
with power domes that makes the car really stand out. The front wings,
impressively reflect the abundance of driving enjoyment on offer.

The sporty, wide rear includes two twin tailpipe
measuring 90mm in diameter. It gets distinctive diffuser look with four
vertical fins and an AMG spoiler lip on the roof spoiler finished in body
As for the interior it gets the MBUX multimedia system
with instrument cluster, featuring three different display designs including
super sport mode with large rev counter. Optionally available is the AMG
Performance steering wheel.
The AMG Track Pace virtual race engineer is included as optional
equipment with hard disk navigation and widescreen cockpit. Also available are
AMG menu, G-meter, Race Timer and engine data. The car comes with AMG
performance seats, black with contrasting topstitching and segment band in
yellow, an AMG cockpit, multi function sports steering wheel in Nappa leather and ambient lighting in 64 colours,
Other features include cruise control, AMG Dynamic select,
AMG suspension with specific spring / damper elements, Thermotronic automatic
climate control and integral fine particulate activated charcoal filter and electrically
adjustable seats with memory function and 4-way lumber support.
The new AMG Perforance 4Matic+ with AMG Torque Control
enables racing standard performance. Two separately acting clutches at the rear
axle provide for fully variable and individual distribution to the rear wheels
as required. This is particularly noticeable when the standard Drift mode is
The Race Start function gives you optimal acceleration
from a standing start. The partial ignition interruption during upshifts and
automatic double-declutching during downshifts
ensure an emotion sound, especially in the S+ drive program. The car has
a length of 4445mm, a wheelbase of 2729mm, width of 1850mm and a height of 1412mm.
