BMW India will be launching the new 7th generation BMW 5 series in the country on June 24, 2021. The car will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine variant.
The new BMW 5 series models will include the 530i, 520d and 530d. There will also be the M Sports variants. A car that began its journey in 1972, the BMW 5 series has caught the imagination of car enthusiasts all over the world. In India too this car is popular in the luxury segment.
While the overall dimensions are expected to be similar to the outgoing model, there are several changes on the technology front. LED headlights are expected to be standard for this model, though the M Sports version will get the BMW laser light. The M Sports variants will get some top notch features.
For one, the display screen on the dashboard will be bigger at around 12.3 inches and this will be a standard feature for all models of the 5 series. Both the petrol as well as diesel engine will be mated to an eight-speed steptronic transmission.
