Motor India unveiled the new 2020 Tucson on first day of Auto Expo 2020. The
vehicle was unveiled in the presence of S S Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor
India besides other company officials.
a sleek rear surface and a striking fascia, the 2020 Tucson has new
penta-projector LED headlamps and LED tail lamps, cascade design bold front
has flared wheel arches, twin-tip exhaust and panoramic sunroof.
The interiors are luxurious and comfortable
with premium black interior colour theme and leather touch on the dashboard.
car is powered by a 2.0 litre diesel and petrol engines. The diesel engine is
mated to a new 8 Speed automatic transmission giving best-in-segment power of
185PS and best-in-segment torque of around 400Nm. Further, the petrol engine
delivers 152 ps power and around 192 Nm torque.
2020 Tucson boasts of smart technology features to make driving pleasurable
with new advanced tyre pressure monitoring system, smart power tailgate,
electric parking brake, first-in-segment power seats (passenger – 8 way)
and Hyundai Blue Link and wireless charger to name a few.
2020 Tucson comes with new floating type 8 inches HD Touch Screen Infotainment
with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Hyundai iblue and Voice Recognition. The 2020
Tucson is equipped with First-in-segment, most advanced Infinity premium
speakers and connectivity solution- ‘Hyundai Blue Link’ with advanced features.
2020 Tucson has strong body structure with 70% High Strength Steel (AHSS +
HSS), and is equipped with 6 airbag with pretensioner & load limiter, side
