Mercedes-Benz has launched the iconic G-Class - G350d for
the Indian market at a price of Rs.1.5 Crore (ex-showroom). The new
Mercedes-Benz G 350 d was launched in the presence of Martin Schwenk, MD and
CEO, Mercedes-Benz India in Mumbai.
The G30 d is powered by 2925cc, Euro 6d-TEMP standard
compliant engine that generates a power output of 286hp at 1200-3200rpm and a
peak torque of 600Nm at 2500-3500rpm. The car comes with a 9G-TRONIC automatic
transmission and achieves 0-100 kmph in just 7.4 seconds. Those looking for a
highly personalised vehicle, the company is offering the G30d with an unlimited
customisation options with ‘G manufaktur’. Over a million possible combinations
of the G-Class can be created by combining the series and G maufaktur options.
