The new BMW 7 Series Signature was launched at the BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2014. The new BMW 7 Series Signature (730Ld) is available in diesel variant at an all India ex-showroom price of Rs 1, 22,00,000.
The car was unveiled at the exclusive ‘BMW Fashion Show’ presented by fashion designer Suneet Varma. The new BMW 7 Series Signature (BMW 730Ld) comes with a range of special features such as the Bang & Olufsen high-end surround sound system, integral active steering, extended wood trim, exclusive Nappa leather upholstery, BMW Individual rear reading lights and cool box. The car is locally produced at the BMW Plant Chennai in diesel variant.
The 2993cc engine of the car produces a peak power of 258bhp @4000rpmm while producing a maximum torque of 560Nm@1500rpm. The car accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 6.2 seconds. The engine is mated to an 8-speed steptronic automatic transmission.
The model comes in two metallic paints-- Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect and Mineral White. The Nappa leather upholstery is available in Ivory White/ Black colour combination. Interior trims offered are fine-wood trim Burr Walnut with inlays and extended content.
Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said that each BMW 7 Series Signature is like a piece of hand-writing - an assertion of personal style. The car is undoubtedly the most exclusive way to drive a BMW, he said.
