Renault has launched its all new seven seater MPV, Renault Triber at a starting
price of Rs 4.95 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Indian market.
The car was launched in the
presence of Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO &
Managing Director, Renault India Operations. Renault Triber comes in four trims - RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ and is available in five colours

The MPV is fitted with
a 999cc, 3 cylinder petrol engine that churns out 71.01hp@6250rpm and a torque
@3500rpm. The sub 4-metre MPV can accommodate 1 to 7 adults in comfort. The car
comes with five-speed manual transmission. Other
features include LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps, 8-inch
multimedia touch screen with MediaNav Evolution connected multimedia system
which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, fully digital LED
instrument cluster with an 8.9 cm LCD screen, rear parking sensors and reverse
camera and 4 airbags - driver, passenger, and front sides.
Triber provides a 710mm of front seat couple
distance, up to 200mm of second-row leg room and 91 mm of leg room for the
third row passengers. All rows come with 12V charging sockets and
air-conditioning for all passengers. Tall passengers can sit comfortably in the
two independent third-row seats which provide a roof height of 834 mm and
include armrests fitted in the body panels. The car offers sliding, reclinable,
foldable and tumble second-row seats along and industry first EasyFix seats that
allows easy handling and removal of third-row independent seats. The MPV comes
with a total of more than 100 different seat-configurations. It features
different seating modes like Life mode, Tribe mode, surf mode and camp mode. The
vehicle has a boot capacity of 625 litres in the 5-seater configuration, 320
litres in 6-seater configuration and 87 litre in 7-seater configuration and it
also comes with functional roof rails with a load
carrying capacity of 50 kg.
