Jaguar Land Rover India has announced the launch of the 2.0 l diesel derivative of the Model Year 2019 Land Rover Discovery in India priced at Rs 75.18 lakh onward. Available in S, SE, HSE& HSE Luxury trim, the new derivative is powered by a 2.0 l diesel Ingenium engine producing a power output of 237hp and peak torque of 500 Nm.
This advanced engine is the first Jaguar Land Rover powerplant to feature series sequential turbo technology to deliver its additional thrust. The Discovery combines the flexibility of a beautifully crafted full-size seven seat interior packed full of ingenious design details with dramatic proportions, clean modern lines and a dynamic silhouette.
For 2019, the Discovery 2.0 l diesel features include electrically reclining seats, intelligent seat fold, four-zone climate control, powered third row seats, a panoramic sunroof, cabin air ionisation, 360°surround camera, adaptive cruise control, protect and remote.
The vehicle has an approach angle of 34°, ramp angle of 27.5° and departure angle of 30°, a water wading depth capability of 900 mm and a 3500 kg towing capacity.
