Tata Motors had launched the SUV Tata Harrier for a starting price of Rs 12.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Harrier is powered by a Kryotec 2.0 L (1956cc) Turbocharged diesel engine which gives a maximum power of 138hp@3750rpm and a maximum torque of 350Nm@1750-2500rpm. The car comes with 6 Speed Manual transmission. The SUV comes in four variants - XE, XM, XT, XZ.

The car comes with an Independent, Lower Wishbone, McPherson Strut with Coil Spring & Anti Roll Bar suspension at the front and Semi independent Twist blade with Panhard Rod & Coil Spring at the rear. The SUV has a ground clearance of 205mm and a wheelbase of 2741mm. It has boot space of 425 litres that goes up to 810 litres when the rear seats are folded. The fuel tank capacity of this vehicle is 50 litres.
