Supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has launched the much awaited Urus super sport utility vehicle in India with a price tag of Rs. 3 crore (ex-showroom Delhi.) The Lamborghini Urus can reach the 100kmph mark from standstill in just 3.6 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 305kmph.
Powering the new Lamborghini Urus is a 4.0L V8 twin turbo engine which is capable of producing 650hp at 6000rpm and 850Nm of torque at 2250rpm. The Urus also has one of the best power to weight ratios in its class - 3.38kg to one hp. The Italian super car manufacturer is offering the Urus with 6 different driving modes, an EGO mode, 4 wheel drive capability and active torque vectoring.
The Lamborghini Urus does not have much competition but it does take on the likes of the Bentley Bentyga which is capable of reaching a top speed of 301kmph. This also makes the Urus the fastest SUV in today's world.
Lamborghini has given the Urus a low line coupe like styling blended seamlessly with a commanding road position and high ground clearance. Lamborghini is also offering 4 wheel steering on the new Urus to ensure excellent handling abilities both on and off the road. Also on offer are carbon ceramic brakes, adaptive air suspension and active roll stabilisation.
