The Renault Captur when launched will go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Jeep Compass. Renault has built the Captur on the B0 platform, the very same as the duster compact SUV. But the French auto maker has given the Captur a more premium appeal with some useful features. Powering the compact SUV as well are the same power train options found on the Duster. The Captur will be offered with dual tone body colour options. Also on offer are full LED headlamps with unique floating side indicators and C-shaped LED DRLs. Renault has also bolted on R17 Crystal Cut alloys which gives the Captur a butch stance.
The Captur gets features such as a 6-way manually adjusted driver seat, LED ambient lighting, puddle lamps, 3.0 ULC multimedia infotainment system, bluetooth, voice recognition, maps, automatic climate control, rear ac vents and a lot more. The Captur gets a boot space of 392 litres which can be extended to 1352 litres. Renault has given the Captur many features for convenience and comfort and ensured it gets just the right bells and whistles but what remains to be seen is the price point the manufacturer brings it in.
