Lamborghini presented its Aventador S Roadster at the IAA (International Automobile Exhibition) in Frankfurt, Germany. The Aventador S Roadster combines sports car like performance of the Aventador S Coupe with the joy of topless motoring. The unveil has made the Aventador S Roadster the only mid engine V12 super sports.
The Aventador Roadster is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine which puts out 740hp and goes from 0-100kmph in a mere 3.0 seconds. The engine belts out 690Nm of torque at 5500rpm. Lamborghini's new Aventador S Roadster is capable of touch speeds of 350kmph. The Italian brand will be offering the new Aventador S Roadster in multiple colours and trims.
During roofless motoring, the window will minimise cabin noise and airflow. The 'S' suffix in Aventador S Roadster indicates the roadster's design and technological advancements. Lamborghini has provided a four wheel drive technology with a new active suspension, new four wheel steering system and a new EGO drive mode which allows the driver to select and setup each criteria according to his or her choice.
With the provision of four wheel steering, the new Aventador S Roadster gets improved control and agility at lower speeds and is more stable at higher ones. Combining this with Dynamic Steering (LDS) for better feedback and sharper turn-in.
