South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai launched the new Verna sedan in the Indian market for Rs 7,99,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) onward. The new 2017 Verna boasts of bold and sophisticated looks and gets some segment leading features. Hyundai is offering the new Verna with a 1.6L petrol motor and a 1.6L diesel mill. The starting price for the petrol variant is Rs 7,99,900 while that for the diesel is 9,19,900.

To begin with the new 2017 Hyundai Verna gets sophisticated looks. Unlike the 4th generation Fluidic Verna which sported curvy lines, the new Verna gets arrow straight lines and an executive appeal. This shift in design language is also witnessed on the new Hyundai Elantra which gets a more refined and dapper appearance.
The new 5th generation 2017 Hyundai Verna will go up against rivals Maruti Ciaz and Honda City. Apart from an overhaul of the exteriors, Hyundai has also made some changes on the mechanical front. The new Verna will be offered with a 1.6L, CRDi diesel mill and a 1.6L, VTVT petrol engine. Both engines will get the options of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
On the inside Hyundai is offering brand new interior layout and design with dual tone black and beige colour theme. The cabin features good build quality and use of quality materials all around. On the features front additions such as ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, keyless entry and engine start/ stop button, cruise control, reverse parking camera and sensors, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs, cooled glovebox and a lot more.
