Okinawa, AN Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturing company unveiled the prototype maxi-electric scooter- Cruiser. The product was unveiled in the presence of Anil Shrivastava-Mission Director, Mission on Transformative Mobility & Battery Storage, Niti Aayog, Jeetender Sharma, Managing Director& Founder and Rupali Sharma, co-Founder and Director, Okinawa.
Okinawa’s prototype maxi-scooter-Cruiser, is the first of its kind in the electric scooter range in India. It features a 4 KWH Lithium-ion, detachable battery. The scooter comes with a high-speed charger that offers a charging time of 2-3 hrs, which is one of its unique features. The scooter achieves a top speed of 100 kmph and is capable of running for over 120 kms on a single charge.
The company also showcased the PraisePro and Ridge+ electric scooters.
