BMW Motorrad has launched the all-new BMW S 1000 RR superbike in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 18.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-new BMW S 1000 RR will be available as a CBU (Completely built-up) unit.
The bike was launched in the presence of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, Dr. Hans-Christian Baertels, President (acting) BMW Group India and Dimitris Raptis, Head of Asia-Pacific, China, Russia, Africa, BMW Motorrad. The superbike is available in two colour options - Racing Red (Flashy red finish) and Light white/ Lupin Blue Metallic / Racing Red (Motorsport finish).
The 2019 BMW S 1000 RR is the first motorcycle to feature an M package, a combination of the power of M with Motorrad. The new M Package includes carbon fibre wheels, M lightweight battery and M sport seat. The bookings for the superbike is now open. Prices are given below:

This 999cc superbike is fitted with a newly developed 4-cylinder in-line engine that generates a power of 207hp@13,500rpm. The new engine is 4kgs lighter and narrower and helps improve both handling and ergonomics. The bike comes with BMW ShiftCam technology which provides excellent toque curve even at low and middle speeds.
It also comes with a newly developed suspensions that enhances the riding dynamics and features a Flex Frame that improves the aerodynamics of the motorcycle and helps keep the weight low. It also comes with ABS Pro, DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) and DTC Wheelie Function as standard. An optional Dynamic Damping Control is also available.
The bike comes with four modes - Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race as standard. The Riding Modes Pro option offers additional three riding modes (Race Pro 1-3) that are freely programmable. The bike also features a multifunctional instrument panel with a 6.5"TFT display.
