Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd (SMIPL) has launched the all-new Gixxer SF 250 - a sport touring motorcycle and Gixxer SF for a price of Rs. 1,70,655 and Rs.1,09,870 (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. The motorcycles were launched in the presence of Satoshi Uchida - Managing Officer in charge of Overseas Marketing, Motorcycle Company at Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan; Masahiro Nishikawa - General Manager of the Motorcycle Company at Suzuki Motor Corporation in charge of engineering head along with Koichiro Hirao - Company Head, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. and Devashish Handa - Vice President, SMIPL.
The all-new Gixxer SF 250 is powered by 249cc, Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) enabled four-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine that produces 26.13hp@9000rpm of power and 22.6Nm@7500rpm of torque. The bike offers a six-speed manual gearbox and comes with a new dual channel Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS). It gets aggressive styling and has a bulky faring at the front. There is a full-LED headlamp cluster at the front and an LED tail-lamp. The bike boasts of a wide 150/60 17-inch tyre at the back and a 110/70 at the front. The seat height is set at 800mm and the ground clearance is 165mm. There is an all new digital instrument console that packs in all the information required by the rider.
The upgraded performance-oriented motorcycle - new Gixxer SF get new looks with a full-LED headlamp and a revised digital instrument cluster. It comes with the same 155cc, four-stroke, single cylinder fuel injection, air-cooled SOHC engine with SEP technology that generates 13.9hp@8000rpm of power and 14.0Nm@6000rpm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gear and is equipped with single channel Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS).
All new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 come in two colour options - Metallic Mat Platinum Silver & Metallic Mat Black and the Suzuki GIXXER SF is available in two colours options - Glass Sparkle Black, & Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass sparkle black.
