Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Splendor iSmart at a price of Rs 47,250 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Splendor iSmart features i3S technology, which is idle Stop and Start technology for two-wheelers. Splendor iSmart has a 100cc air-cooled single cylinder OHC engine that develops a maximum power of 7.6bhp and peak torque of 8.04Nm.
i3S is a green technology that automatically shut the engine off when idling and turns it on when needed with a simple press of the clutch. This burns lesser fuel and gives more fuel efficiency on congested city roads. A multi-media campaign on Splendor iSmart will also run across print, television, digital and social media. The Splendor iSmart has aesthetic features such as new body graphics, stylish alloy wheels and metre console. The iSmart is now available at all Hero MotoCorp dealerships.
