Benelli unveiled the Imperiale 400 cruiser at EICMA 2017. The motorcycle is an ideal model for India, where it would finally come through the Italian company’s association with DSK MotoWheels. The Imperiale 400 is powered by 373cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine which delivers around 20PS of peak power at 5500rpm and a peak torque of 28Nm at 3500rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Benelli Imperiale 400 has a retro styling about it. The motorcycle us built on a double cradle, steel tubular frame and has split seats and a tear drop shaped tank. It also has a twin pod instrument cluster. The motorcycle comes with discs on both wheels and has ABS as standard. The bike is expected to pit head on with the Royal Enfield motorcycles when it comes to India.
