Bajaj Auto has launched the new Platina ComforTec with an LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) for Rs. 46,656 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new 2017 Bajaj Platina ComforTec is the first bike in the 100-150cc category in India to get LED DRLs. The company has also claimed the LED headlamp technology helps consume 88pc less power with four times longer life.
Along with lower power consumption the new 2017 Bajaj Platina ComforTec returns good mileage figures when compared to other motorcycles with an AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) feature. The new Bajaj Platina ComforTec has been made available in ebony black with silver decals and cocktail wine with red decals. The bike is available in dealerships across India.
The new bike from Bajaj also features ComforTec technology which is the first of its kind to be added to any commuter motorcycle. The technology reduces bumps and jerks by 20pc when compared with other 100cc motorcycles. The new 2017 Platina gets a 28pc longer travel for the front suspension and 22pc more travel for the rear suspension. This has resulted in better absorption of undulations. The new bike also features a spring soft seat, rubber footpads and directional tyres.
Eric Vas, President Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto, said, “With the introduction of this upgraded Platina ComforTec, we have made a superior product even better. Customers shall love the combination of comfort, superior mileage and LED DRL styling that the new Platina offers”
