TVS Motor Company Ltd. will
be launching the new Scooty Zest 110 in New Delhi in a few days time. The
Scooty has already been launched in Chennai at a price of Rs. 42,300 (ex
showroom). The new Scooty Zest has the next generation 110 cc CVTi engine which
is a single cylinder-4 stroke-air cooled engine. The engine produces 7.9bhp @
7500rpm, 8.8Nm of torque @ 5500rpm and goes from 0-60 kmph in just 11.1
The Scooty Zest has a
digital Inductive Discharge Ignition (IDI) system and LED tail lamps. With a
1250 mm wheelbase the kerb weight of the Scooty Zest is 98.5 kgs. The rider
seat height is set at 760 mm with Telescopic suspension in the front and Double
rated Hydraulic Mono Shock suspension in the rear. The Scooty Zest has 10 inch
tubeless tyres in the front and the rear. There are drum brakes in the back and
the front, with a 110 mm drum in the front and a 130 mm drum in the rear. The fuel
tank has a capacity to hold 5 Liters of fuel. The new Scooty Zest is very fuel
efficient and goes up to 62 km per litre. It also has an econometer and a long

Scooty Zest is sharp and bold with leaf shaped rearview mirrors, twilight
headlamps, led taillights, a back-lit speedometer, double stitched seats, a
textured floor board and a stainless steel muffler guard with the CVTi badge on
it. The new Scooty Zest comes with many handy features such as a parking brake,
two foldable bag hooks in different convenient locations, one under the handle
and the other under the seat, it has one of the largest under seat storage
areas of 19 litres and an open glove box and bottle holder.
The new Scooty Zest comes in
five colours namely Fiery Red, Daring Black, Powerful Pink, Terrific Turquoise
and Dynamic White. The TVS Scooty Zest 110 was showcased earlier on this year
in the Auto Expo 2014 and was quite popular among the visitors.
