UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt. Ltd. unveiled their BS-IV complaint range of motorcycles which includes the Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sport S. Both motorcycles will get fuel injected engines which will comply to the new norms made mandatory by the government from April 1, 2017.
The fuel injection technology will enable these UM motorcycles to produce higher and consistent power when compared to the previous variants. The company claims these engines have been designed specially to deliver better cold starts and will also produce less emissions. The bikes will also get a better throttle response in terms of accuracy.
Rajeev Mishra, CEO, UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt. Ltd., said, “We are happy to announce that following the implementation of BS-IV pollution norms in India, both Renegade Commando EFI and Renegade Sports S EFI fully comply with the stringent pollution norms. Our bikes will now come equipped with fuel injection engines that shall produce extra power for an increased driving pleasure.” UM now has 45 dealerships across India.
