As a part of their promise of 15 products to be launched in 2015, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. launched the new 125cc CB Shine SP for Rs. 59,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) while the combi-brake version of the bike will be available for Rs. 64,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Honda CB Shine is the 14th product to be launched by Honda this year and the last product launch for the year will be the much awaited CB Hornet 160R which will be launched next month.
The new CB Shine SP comes with a 125cc, 4-stroke, SI engine which makes 10.57bhp @ 7500 and 10.3Nm of torque @ 5500rpm. The bike now comes with a 5-speed gearbox, 2 piece muffler cover, 5 split spoke alloys and many other cosmetic changes. The CB Shine has been one of the better selling bikes being offered by Honda and also has one of the longest wheelbases in the segment. The bike also offers a ground clearance of 160mm for improved riding dynamics on different Indian road conditions and comes with tubeless tyres.

Though CB Shine enjoys 46pc market share, our plan is to further strengthen Honda’s leadership position in 125cc segment.” The refined Honda Engine Technology enables the new CB Shine SP to achieve a mileage of 65kmpl while the fuel tank can hold 10.5 litres of fuel giving the bike a decent range of approximately 680kms. The new CB Shine SP will be available in 5 colours geny grey, athletic blue metallic, pearl amazing white, black and rebel red metallic.
