Yamaha has unveiled the
powerful new MT-10 flagship model as well as the compact new MT-03, while the
new XSR900 brings 3-cylinder crossplane-engine performance to the Faster Sons
market. The all-new reverse head WR450F enduro bike also took the centre stage
alongside its WR450F Dakar alter ego that will be competing in the world's
toughest rally in January.
The completely new Yamaha
booth at EICMA looks set to be one of the most popular destinations for show
goers. Customers will be able to move seamlessly from segment to segment, where
they can find the model that is ready to satisfy their desires and fulfill
their dreams - on the street, track or dirt.
The highly successful MT
family has been at the top of the sales charts all over Europe. In addition to
the arrival of the all-new MT-10 flagship model and the MT-03, customers can
also see the 2016 MT-09 and its variants that now come equipped with TCS. The
Ray of Darkness has radiated onto most of the MT models, and the dynamic new
Night Fluo colour reinforces the strong and unique identity of the MT family.
No Yamaha stand would be
complete without the concept models that always attract huge interest from the
public, and at EICMA we will be showing the radical MWT-9, a Leaning Multi
Wheel (LMW) concept with an 850cc 3-cylinder engine. Also on display is the
Resonator 125, a light, slim and compact entry-level concept model that
combines retro cool with new technology.
After the launch of XSR700,
the new XSR900 raised the bar of riding emotion in the Faster Sons family - and
in celebration of our 60th Anniversary Sport Heritage models are being produced
in Yamaha's iconic yellow and black speedblock livery.
In the Yard Built section, the
company we will also be exhibiting a number of specials that have been created
to inspire and motivate its customers, including the remarkable 900 Faster Wasp
by Roland Sands.
The Yamaha TMAX is Europe's
most successful maxi-scooter, and the sophisticated new TMAX LUX MAX and the
updated TMAX IRON MAX offer even higher levels of exclusivity and comfort. In
line with the company’s customer centric direction that aims to meet the wishes
of its customers, the company has regrouped
its 125cc models into the Urban Mobility segment. Featuring the latest 125cc
commuter scooters as well as the innovative 3-wheel Tricity, the Urban Mobility
range offers an affordable, convenient and accessible alternative to public

The company is also displaying
the latest clothing lines, including its Faster Sons collection as well as the
popular Paddock Blue range that will be on sale at the show - and there will
also be a sneak preview of the new MT Apparel collection.
