has announced that on October 13, 2015, the company will launch the Maestro
Edge scooter in India and will be priced at Rs. 49,500/- (ex-showroom Delhi). The
Duet scooter will be launched thereafter. Both the scooters will be available
in VX and LX variant. The Maestro Edge LX is priced at Rs. 49,500/- and the VX
will be priced at Rs. 50,700/- (Both prices are ex- showroom Delhi). The prices
of the Duet will be announced soon.
Hero has been
working on the Maestro Edge and the Duet also which will be launched soon
after. Both the automatic scooters will be powered by the same 110cc engine
producing 8.31bhp and 8.3Nm of torque. While the Maestro Edge will boast a
65.8kmpl, the Duet will settle for 63.9kmpl of fuel economy.
Edge scooter comes with features, such as Key with E-Code, Mobile Charging
Port, Remote Seat Opening, Remote fuel-lid opening, Pass Switch, Service Due
Indicator, Side Stand Indicator and Twin Parking Lamps. Besides, it will have a Digital Analogue
Meter Console, Boot Light, External fuel filling, European Switches with
easily-serviceable covers, high-quality front winker & LED tail light,
contemporary front and under seat luggage hooks, stylish titanium muffler cover
and protector and stylish alloy wheels.
Braking System, Telescopic Front Suspension and bigger 12 inch front wheels
offer riding comfort and improved stability.
