Developed following nearly two years of dedicated research and development and consumer research, the G1 has been designed around the practical requirements of everyday Indian commuters. The scooter combines multiple battery options, different riding modes and utility-focused features, with the objective of making electric mobility accessible to a wider set of consumers.
Built around everyday mobility
The e-Sprinto G1 offers three battery options with claimed ranges of up to 80 km, 100 km and 130 km, respectively. The three riding modes—Eco, City and Sport—offer speeds of up to 30 km/h, 40 km/h and 50 km/h, respectively, allowing riders to select a mode suited to their riding requirements.
The scooter comes with a 150 kg carrying capacity, 12-inch tubeless tyres and 165 mm ground clearance, making it suited to the varied conditions encountered on Indian roads. Its IP67-rated battery adds a further layer of protection against dust and water ingress under specified test conditions.
The G1 also features a Combi Braking System and a digital display. Navigation functionality is available through an optional subscription, allowing customers to activate it according to their requirements. These features form part of e-SPRINTO’s approach to developing a practical electric scooter for daily commuting and family use.

From B2B experience to B2C ambitions
The launch of the G1 builds on e-Sprinto’s experience in the B2B electric two-wheeler market. According to the company, more than 70,000 units are currently on Indian roads. With 3 manufacturing facilities and an annual production capacity of 1.5 lakh units, e-Sprinto is looking to extend its operational experience into the consumer market. The company’s approach has centred on product availability, after-sales service, spare-parts support and consistent quality—areas it intends to prioritise as it builds its B2C presence.
Commenting on the launch, Shalu Gupta, Co-Founder, e-Sprinto, said: “The launch of the G1 is an important milestone for e-SPRINTO as we expand into the B2C market. Our experience in the B2B segment has helped us understand that the relationship with a customer extends well beyond the product itself. Reliability, availability, service and spare-parts support are equally important. Over the past two years, we have focused on understanding the needs of Indian families and translating those insights into the G1. Our goal is to make electric mobility more accessible while building long-term trust with our customers.”
Atul Gupta, Co-Founder, e-Sprinto, said: “The G1 reflects our ambition to bring our experience in electric mobility to individual riders and families. We have focused on practical requirements, including battery choices, riding modes, carrying capacity and features relevant to everyday use. As we enter the B2C market, our priority is to complement the product with a strong sales, service and spares ecosystem, ensuring that customer confidence remains central to our growth.”
