Designed for circuit riding, Ohvale motorcycles provide a platform for learning the fundamentals of motorcycle racing. Their compact dimensions and racing hardware allow riders to develop throttle control, braking technique, body positioning and cornering skills before progressing to larger-capacity race machines.
Race engineering in a compact package
The Ohvale range features air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engines, with carburettor fuelling, racing air filters and oil coolers. Automatic and four-speed transmission options cater to different stages of rider development. Stainless-steel exhaust pipes paired with Arrow titanium under-seat silencers further underline their racing focus.
At the core of these motorcycles are robotically welded, high-strength steel trellis frames, paired with aluminium swingarms. The suspension setup combines upside-down front forks with rear piggyback monoshocks offering adjustment for compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload. Race variants feature 35 mm fully adjustable OhRacing front forks, allowing suspension settings to be tailored to the rider and circuit.
The range rides on Ohvale-designed aluminium alloy wheels fitted with tubeless Pirelli Diablo superbike compound slick tyres. Braking hardware includes front and rear disc brakes, four-piston radial front calipers and braided steel brake hoses, with Brembo components featured on selected configurations. Fibreglass racing fairings and CNC-machined footrests complete the package. Depending on the variant, additional equipment includes a slipper clutch and an electronic quickshifter. Together, these components give riders experience with the controls, feedback and setup considerations of a purpose-built racing motorcycle.
Building grassroots motorsport in India
Speaking about the launch, Ajit Bharadwaj, Managing Director, House of Machines (Official Importers of Ohvale Motorcycles in India), noted: “Building a stronger future for Indian motorsport starts with giving young riders the right foundation. Ohvale motorcycles are purpose-built race machines that help children learn proper riding technique and understand how a racing motorcycle responds on track.”
“The experience they gain in braking, cornering, throttle control and racecraft will prepare them for the demands of larger-capacity race machines as they progress. Through Ohvale India, we want to strengthen grassroots motorsport, support structured training and give more young riders the opportunity to develop their talent,” he added.
HOM aims to support this vision through collaboration with motorcycle racing academies, trainers and karting facilities. By bringing training infrastructure and dedicated racing motorcycles together, the company intends to create more opportunities for young riders to learn, practise and enter competitive motorsport.
