At the heart of the Versys 650 is a 649cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel-twin engine producing 49.0 kW {67 PS} at 8,500 min-1 and 61.0 N·m {6.2 kgf·m} at 7,000 min-1. The engine delivers smooth and responsive performance with strong mid-range torque, making it well suited to a wide range of riding conditions. A six-speed return transmission and wet multi-disc clutch complement the engine’s flexible, touring-oriented character, offering a refined and engaging riding experience.
