Harley-Davidson has delivered six Street 750 motorcycles specially customised for the Gujarat Police Department. The bikes were delivered by Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson, the company’s dealership in Gujarat.
The 750s will be used primarily for quick response actions by the police department, for escorting of senior ministers and visiting dignitaries in addition to emergency response as part of a natural disaster response team, among others. Early this year, a Street 750 and a Superlow 883 Harley bikes were presented to the Gujarat Police during the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. The bikes were apparently used for escorting dignitaries at the event.
Pranav Nanda, Dealer Principal, Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson said “We are proud to add these Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycles to the Gujarat Police arsenal. The Street 750 not only addresses the police department’s need of a performance motorcycle in challenging situations but also provides great confidence and maneuverability in urban conditions,”
Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycles is powered by the new Revolution X engine – a pure Harley-Davidson liquid cooled 750cc V-Twin engine. A single overhead cam, four valves per head and a 6-speed transmission.
