The V4 Rally is the Multistrada aimed at lovers of long journeys. A bike that, since its launch in 2023, has proven to be an unstoppable adventure companion, capable of conquering unexplored places, reaching those destinations with maximum comfort. It is the bike for discovering the world without stopping at anything, alone or with a partner.
The new liveries, in Jade Green and Ducati Red with a brushed fuel tank, make the new MY26 Multistrada V4 Rally immediately recognizable. A distinctive look that further enhances its technical features: grand touring comfort, great range thanks to 30 litre fuel tank and off-road capability thanks to the suspension with longer travel, reinforced engine guards, and spoked wheels. These features are complemented by new chassis and electronic solutions that enhance its versatility, safety, and performance.
The Forward Collision Warning anticipates potential frontal impacts, the new Automatic Lowering Device lowers the bike for easier ground contact, and the advanced strategies for the ABS Electronic Combined Braking System and the semi-active Adaptive Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO are now even more effective in managing any situation and riding style.
The result is a motorcycle perfectly at home on the most challenging mountain passes, dirt roads, or fast, flowing highways around the world. The ideal companion for those who want to push exploration further with maximum comfort and safety, without sacrificing typical Ducati riding pleasure. Like the entire Multistrada V4 family, the Rally offers excellent performance (170 hp), great reliability, and low running costs, with maintenance intervals every 60,000 km, oil service every 15,000 km or 24 months, and a 2-year warranty.

At home on any road
Living up to its name, the Multistrada V4 Rally is a motorcycle that further improves its ability to tackle any road. On the 2026 V4 Rally model, the semi-active suspension with long travel (200 mm) is managed by an evolved Adaptive Skyhook DSS (Ducati Semiactive Suspension) EVO strategy with the introduction of new functions capable of raising the bar for comfort and effectiveness once again.
The Multistrada V4 Rally confirms and improves the automatic suspension preload management functions, which ensure a constant setup regardless of the presence of the rider alone, a passenger, and/or luggage, thus maintaining the correct weight distribution. The rider can now change the suspension response even on the move, regardless of the selected Riding Mode, for greater comfort during a relaxed ride or more support and feedback when tackling the curves of a mountain road. On the new MY26 Multistrada V4 Rally, the Adaptive DSS EVO system can understand the characteristics of the route being tackled and the rider's riding style at any given moment and adjust the suspension's hydraulic calibration to ensure the best control and comfort based on the situation.
With the introduction of the DVO (Ducati Vehicle Observer) algorithm, the Multistrada V4 Rally also features electronic controls that can operate with greater precision. This feature provides a more accurate estimate of the motorcycle's position in space and its overall mass, simulating the input of 70 sensors to supplement the data provided by the inertial platform. The Ducati Vehicle Observer, developed by Ducati Corse in MotoGP, refines the ABS Cornering and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) strategies.
Furthermore, the Electronic Combined Braking System, which can be disengaged and features enhanced strategies and functionality thanks to the DVO, modulates the action on the front and rear brakes to ensure ideal performance, now also taking into account the load. In addition to the front-to-rear strategy, which manages the rear brake even when only the front brake lever is operated, the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally now features a rear-to-front strategy, which also activates the front brake when only the rear brake lever is operated. This strategy, introduced on the 2025 Multistrada V4, has been optimized for the Rally chassis and refined in its action, reducing the bike's pitch during braking and thus improving comfort, especially when riding with a passenger.

Safety and technology
On the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally, the radar suite introduced with the first 2021 V4 model is complemented by the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) function, which alerts the rider of potential collisions with a vehicle ahead with a pop-up on the dashboard.
The 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally also offers the rider improved visibility during night riding, with Ducati Cornering Lights and a more effective headlight cluster that reduces the shadow in front of the front wheel. Furthermore, the new Coming Home function allows the low beam to be left on for a few seconds after the ignition is turned off, making it easier to open the garage door when returning home in the dark.
The new Multistrada V4 Rally is easier to handle when maneuvering from a standstill and at low speeds, thanks to the introduction of the Automatic Lowering Device, now equipped with a differentiated strategy for on-road and off-road riding. The bike quickly and automatically "lowers" when speeds drop below 10 km/h. When the rider accelerates, exceeding 50 km/h on the road or 20 km/h off-road, the motorcycle automatically returns to its standard ride height. The system operates automatically or can be deactivated by the rider.
The 6.5-inch colour TFT dashboard has been updated with a new user interface, offering more efficient and versatile suspension control. The system naturally retains map navigation functionality thanks to the Ducati Connect app, which also supports phone use for answering calls or listening to music, using a helmet equipped with an intercom system. The interface for selecting the heating level for the grips and optional seat is new and more intuitive.
Comfortable for rider and passenger
The Multistrada V4 Rally is the perfect motorcycle for two-up riding, designed to maximize comfort for both the rider and their traveling partner. Compared to the Multistrada V4, the windshield, which is 40 mm wider and 20 mm taller, provides better protection. The placement of the pannier mounts has been carefully designed to offer plenty of legroom for the passenger, who also benefits from improved support and a sense of durability from the top case, thanks to the die-cast support.
In addition, to facilitate loading and unloading the side panniers and simplify maintenance, the center stand, now designed to make lifting the bike even easier, is standard. Likewise, to further enhance comfort, heated handgrips are now also standard and adjustable to five temperature levels.

Engine and chassis
The 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine produces 170 hp of power at 10,750 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm, featuring a particularly linear torque curve that ensures a smooth and progressive response across the entire rev range. This engine's performance, combined with its total weight of just 147 lbs, allows the V4 Granturismo to confirm its position as the category benchmark for power and lightness. These figures are combined with refined technical solutions, such as the counter-rotating crankshaft, derived from Ducati Corse's experience in MotoGP, which works "against" the gyroscopic inertia of the wheels, as well as the torque curves dedicated to each gear to combine smooth power delivery at low revs, robust torque at medium revs, and power at high revs. Furthermore, the V4 Granturismo is equipped with an extended rear cylinder deactivation strategy, which keeps the rear cylinder bank deactivated at standstill and at low revs, thus benefiting fuel consumption and emissions.
On the Multistrada V4 Rally, the engine is assisted by the new Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0. This system utilizes a strategy based solely on the gear shift drum's angular position sensor, enabling a microswitch-free shift rod and providing the rider with a more direct feel through shorter travel.
In terms of chassis, the Multistrada V4 Rally maintains its lightweight and compact aluminum monocoque frame, with a double-sided shell-cast aluminum swingarm mounted on a repositioned, higher-mounted pivot, increasing the suspension's anti-squat effect for more precise and effective handling even under full load. For the same purpose, the braking system has been upgraded with a larger 280 mm rear brake disc.
The Multistrada V4 Rally is offered exclusively with lightweight, tubeless spoked wheels that contribute to improving the bike's dynamic performance. They are equipped as standard with a TPMS sensor that displays tire pressure on the dashboard.
