Heart of the Beast: The New V2 Engine
At the core of the Streetfighter V2 is the new 90° V2 engine, 890 cc and Euro5+ homologated. Weighing a mere 54.4 kg, it is the lightest twin-cylinder ever produced by Ducati. It delivers a maximum power of 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 93.3 Nm at 8,250 rpm. Its generous power delivery, with over 70% of maximum torque available at just 3,000 rpm, ensures an exciting response at every throttle opening. For track enthusiasts, a racing exhaust is available as an accessory, increasing power to 126 hp and reducing weight by 4.5 kg.
The six-speed transmission features the second-generation Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, providing a more direct and precise gear shift feel. An oil bath slipper clutch with progressive hydraulic control ensures a light lever pull, enhancing riding pleasure.
Unrivaled Chassis & Handling
The Streetfighter V2 is built around a lightweight and efficient monocoque frame, using the V2 engine as a stressed element. This compact and rational solution contributes to the bike’s impressive dry weight of 175 kg (Streetfighter V2 S) and 178 kg (Streetfighter V2), making it the lightest Streetfighter ever produced. A double-sided swingarm, inspired by the Panigale V4, enhances stability and mechanical grip.
The suspension setup varies between the two versions:
• Streetfighter V2: Features a fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and a fully adjustable Kayaba rear shock absorber.
• Streetfighter V2 S: Comes equipped with premium, fully adjustable Öhlins NIX-30 fork and Öhlins rear shock absorber, alongside a lithium-ion battery for further weight reduction. Both versions benefit from a Sachs steering damper, improving precision and stability at high speeds. The new cast wheels are fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres (120/70 front and 190/55 rear), balancing handling and footprint. Braking is handled by a powerful Brembo system with M50 monobloc calipers and 320 mm discs at the front, offering both track-level power and road-friendly modulation.
SuperSport-Derived Electronics
The Streetfighter V2 is equipped with a state-of-the-art electronics package, featuring a 6-axis IMU inertial platform for comprehensive control and safety. This includes:
• ABS Cornering: With a "slide by brake" function for controlled sliding into corners.
• Ducati Traction Control (DTC): With a new "predictive" control strategy for enhanced grip management.
• Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC): For maximum acceleration performance with safety.
• Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0: For seamless up and down shifts.
• Engine Brake Control (EBC): To optimize stability during aggressive braking.
Riders can instantly adapt the bike's behavior by choosing from four Riding Modes (Race, Sport, Road, Wet), each offering pre-configured and user-modifiable intervention levels for all controls and engine response. The new 5” TFT dashboard provides a clear and intuitive rider interface, with three display modes (Road, Road Pro, Track) to suit different riding contexts.
