Bajaj Auto has
launched the new Pulsar Adventure Sport series in India. Two variants will be
available, the Pulsar AS 200 priced at Rs. 91,550/- and the Pulsar AS 150 for
Rs. 79,000/- (both ex-showroom Delhi).
The Pulsar AS
200 will be powered by 200cc single cylinder, triple spark 4 valve liquid
cooled DTSi engine which delivers 23.5bhp@9500rpm and 18.35Nm of
torque@8000rpm. The Pulsar AS 150 will run on a 150cc single cylinder, twin
spark 4 valve air cooled DTSi engine delivering 17bhp@9500rpm and 13Nm of torque@7500rpm.
The Pulsar AS
200 has a ground clearance of 170mm and the AS 150 has a ground clearance of
167mm which would come in handy if one desires to ride off-road for which these
motorcycles are focused on. At the front, for the first time in the segment,
the Pulsar AS series comes with projector headlamps, half fairings on the sides
to differentiate it from other Pulsars, a 12 litre fuel tank, and an extended
visor. The front suspensions on both the bikes are telescopic with anti
friction bush and Nitrox monoshock absorber with canister at the rear.

The new
Pulsar AS series is now available across all Bajaj Auto dealerships in a choice
of three colours – Red, Black and Blue.
