Royal Enfield showcases Flying Flea electric motorcycle in Bengaluru

At the heart of Flying Flea lies a deep appreciation for design, not just as form, but as a part of the brand’s philosophy, function, identity, and intent. This ethos extends beyond the motorcycle, fuelling a roster of incredible creative collaborations with inspiring voices from the design and lifestyle space. Following collaborations with homegrown design house, Rkive City, and LA-based multi-disciplinary artist Mattia Biagi, the Bangalore showcase ushered in fresh art forms evocative of the Flying Flea spirit. From multidisciplinary artist Ansh Kumar’s bold kinetic installation ‘Shaped by the Wind’ that channels the essence of the Flying Flea, and the creative synergy from Goji, a Bengaluru-based AI artist, to a breathtaking photo exhibition inspired by the silhouette of FF.C6 by photographer, Lekha Rathnam, the pop up Flying Flea Cafe at Sabha became a hotspot for art, coffee and conversations.  

Paying homage to its namesake, the FF.C6 features a contemporary interpretation of the original Flying Flea’s front suspension, incorporating a precision-engineered forged aluminium Girder fork and articulating mudguard. The Girder fork, an iconic element of early motorcycle design, has been reimagined with modern materials and engineering, offering enhanced strength, durability, and refined handling. The FF.C6 is the only motorcycle on the market today to feature this advanced Girder fork, setting it apart with a unique combination of heritage and innovation.

A key embodiment of the Flying Flea ethos is the design of the battery fins, seamlessly merging tradition and innovation. The dynamic front fins, arranged in odd sequences, symbolise forward-thinking technology, while the elegant rear fins, placed in even sequences, reflect heritage and legacy. These two elements twist and converge into a graceful wing-shaped motif at the center, a powerful representation of the brand’s spirit.

The brand’s groundbreaking innovation is developed at the Flying Flea Tech Center, where over 200 engineers across India and the UK have filed more than 45 patent applications. From advanced motor and battery management systems to seamless connectivity solutions, Flying Flea is setting new benchmarks in the EV space. At the core of the FF.C6 ride experience is an in-house developed operating system powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon QWM2290 processor. Built to evolve around the rider, the FF.C6 combines hardware and software-driven innovations to elevate the City+ mobility experience. The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), also developed in-house, seamlessly integrates thousands of ride mode combinations. This advanced system dynamically adapts performance parameters, delivering a secure, intelligent and connected ride experience. With this future-ready platform, Flying Flea is not just redefining electric motorcycles—it’s pioneering a new era of City+ mobility.

The showcase will be open to enthusiasts and the community in Bengaluru from May 10-11, 2025, and apart from the brand and motorcycle showcase, it will feature panel discussions and Flying Flea-inspired art and installations, bridging the gap between technology, mobility, and design.
