iGowise Mobility, Bengaluru-based EV startup, will be premiering on January 26, 2023 its crossover SUV Scooter BeiGo X4 in the Indian market.
This unique e-scooter is an embodiment of eye-catching yet minimalistic design, ingenious engineering and state-of-the-art technology that can elevate user lifestyle by making urban commute comfortable & safe like never before.
“BeiGo eBike is based on the fusion of the beast & the bee. It draws inspiration from the beauty of the life nurturing honeybee at the same time built rugged and resilient like a mountain-antelope!” exclaims Suresh Salla, CTO & Chief of Design at iGo.
Talking of resilience, BeiGo X4’s real USP is its twin-wheel integrated power-train technology that facilitates on-demand self-balancing. ‘Always feet on-board’ is the perfect way to travel fatigue-free even in heavy traffic, slopes and while reversing. “While many attempted to build a self-balancing scooter, iGo’s innovative engineering ingenuity is bringing this stabilisation without compromising on the performance and agility and without using expensive or high energy-demanding technologies” added Suresh who holds more than 20 patents in mobility technologies.
150 KM practical range, 2500+ cycle ultra-durable fire-resistant LifePO4 batteries, 60L of boot space, spacious flat floor legroom, inbuilt pillion footrest and to top it all triple-disc anti-skid braking system make it a compelling proposition. “It’s what you get when a noble mission, user obsession & great execution come together” chimes in Sravan Appana, CEO of iGo.
An alumnus of the ISB who built world-class technology products in fintech, cloud & IOT domains, Sravan joined hands with Suresh, a serial entrepreneur in the mobility space for the common mission of making two-wheeler mobility safer, smarter & accessible.
“Beyond exceptional engineering, our forte is in mobility technologies including smart BMS, ADAS, collision detection alarms and data-driven riding pattern detection. Utilising IOT and advanced AI technologies, we will introduce exciting cash backs and rewards for incentivizing riders who demonstrate responsible driving patterns and safe road etiquette,” he added.
Leveraging this connected technology, iGo plans further to introduce a unique proposition of zero-down-payment pay-as-you-go vehicle subscription. It is in talks with several EV financing partners to make safe mobility affordable to the masses. This crossover scooter is expected to be priced at an introductory price tag of Rs 1.1 lakh for the base-variant along with a 5-year warranty up to 1 lakh kilometres for the pioneer customers. The company’s facility in Whitefield, Bangalore already has an installed capacity of 30K units annually.
