fans of the legendary Harley-Davidson brand have more reason to cheer as the
company has lunched three new motorcycles in the country. The big daddy of the
three is the limited edition, custom built, hand crafted CVO that comes to
India at a price of Rs 49.23 lakh. There is also the Street Glide Special at Rs
29.70 lakh and the Breakout model priced at Rs.16.28lakh. All price are

finally brought their CVO family “Custom Vehicle Operations” to India. Harley’s
CVO family bikes are hand built and fully customised as every year the company
gives free right to its engineers to go all out as far as they can. The CVO
Limited is the most expensive Harley in India, and will be available from 2015.
As the name suggest, the Limited, will be made in Limited numbers around the
world as less as single thousands units. With a massive weight of 433kgs, the
Limited has a 1,801cc V-Twin motor that makes a whopping 156Nm of torque.
The Street Glide Special
the same 1,690cc V-twin with a peak torque (138Nm), the Street Glide Special is
a fully loaded version of the existing normal model already available in India.
The specialty of the Special is that it comes with creature comforts like a
6.5in screen for the infotainment system, surround speakers, ABS, and more
accessories than the regular model with an aero package for better
addition to the Softail family is the Breakout. The only bike of the three that
will be locally assembled in the Harley Davidson facility in Haryana, will be
powered by a 1,690cc air-cooled V-twin with 130Nm of torque to dig a grave with
the rear tyre for anyone who rebels against this rebel. But not many would
because of its claimed fuel economy of 13.86kmpl. With 21 inch wheel up front,
and 18 inch wheels at the back, which houses the massive 240mm wide rear tyre,
and low stance with chopped fenders, the Breakout comes with an exclusive colour
of ‘Hard Candy Quicksilver Flake” among many others.

its range barring the ‘Trike’ family. With 15 dealerships across the country,
and their entire range comprising of 13 motorcycles, the Street Glide Special
and the CVO limited will be imported directly from the US.
