Bahubali Prabhas and Dr Goenka’s wit

If Anand Mahindra’s speech at the launch of the TUV300 at the Mahindra plant in Chakan in Pune, Maharashtra on September 10, 2015 was all about love and emotions intertwined with the inherent strengths of the TUV300, Dr Pawan Goenka’s speech was all about critical facts, figures and more than a little dash of wit. Dr. Goenka is Executive Director, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra & Mahindra concluded his speech on a lighter vein when said, “...And I told you Vivek (Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Mahindra & Mahindra) I want the first car and I shall wrestle with you when I get down there. That is the prerogative that I want. I love this car...”

His request got a witty response when Dr Goenka concluded the question and answer session during the launch event. “You said you would wrestle with Vivek to be the first customer of TUV300. While you wrestle right hand to right hand there is somebody else wrestling with him left hand to left hand and that is the toughest man in the film industry today-- Bahuballi Prabhas. Now it is a question of whether Anand Mahindra wrestles Vivek and Vivek is stronger or Bahuballi. It is between you and Vivek and Bahuballi”.

Now do these words from Dr Goenka also set the record straight that Prabhas is endorsing the TUV300? Bahubali, the Hindi block buster movie that was released earlier in the year was a mega hit. It starred the Telegu super star Prabhas.  The star had apparently shot a few advertisement commercials for the TUV300.  After the success of the epic movie, Prabhas achieved tremendous recognition throughout India. Wrestling apart, the charismatic Prabhas may have found his real “love’ in the new TUV300!
