Ashutosh Khosla , who worked with Piaggio Vehicles, has come in place of Naresh Kumar Rattan who till recently was the Executive Director, Force Motors. The latter resigned from his post in January 2015 after spending three years in the Pune based firm. Khosla has joined Force Motors as its President, Sales & Marketing.
Khosla in the meantime had been working as Director, Sales & Marketing, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. for more than 11 years. Before that he was the Assistant General Manager, Marketing, Kinetic Engineering Ltd from July 1999 to October 2003.
Force Motors manufactures a range of utility vehicles under the brand name Gurkha and Trax. It also makes the Traveller mini vans for the taxi and tour segment and also for the school bus segment.
BMW India recently announced that Force Motors would be supply the German company engines and axles from a plant in Chennai where the two have set up a joint venture plant. Force Motors also supplies engines and axles to another German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India.
