Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan, registered a 42.65 pc increase in December 2014 sales as compared to December 2013. Suzuki Motorcycle sold 29,036 units in December 2014 as opposed to 20,355 units in December 2013, recording a growth in its overall sales. Suzuki Motorcycles has maintained a consistent growth path over the last couple of years, stated the company in a press release.
Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, SMIPL, said “Our concerted efforts to promote the Gixxer and Let’s have met with positive customer sentiment. Customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth publicity are key factors that work in our favour. Growth in sales indicates that the market is responding favourably to our products.
