Royal Enfield, part of the Eicher Group, concluded 2014 with a strong sales performance and posted sales of 28634 units in combined domestic wholesale and exports in December 2014 recording a growth of 48pc over same period last year.
This was stated in a press release issued by the company.
Royal Enfield was present at the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows held at Long Beach, California and the New York show held in December. On display was the full range of Royal Enfield motorcycles. Visitors got a chance to get their hands on Bullet 500, Classic 500, Classic Desert Storm, Classic Chrome, Classic Battle Green & the new 535cc Continental GT café racer. Also on display were the two souped up Continental GT’s by ace tuner tuner Matt Capri that did a speed run at the Bonneville Speed Trials 2014. For over 30 years, the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows have been a premiere winter harbour for over 600,000 powersports enthusiasts throughout the USA. Industry’s leading manufacturers for motorcycles, ATVs and scooters from across the world converge for this event that is held from October to February in major consumer markets across the US. The show also hosts seminars, action features and historic motorcycle displays.
