Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL), has announced the launch of brand ‘Hero’ and its range of two-wheelers in Guatemala City, El Salvador and Honduras, marking the iconic Indian brand’s first foray into new international markets. The range of Hero two-wheelers being launched in these markets includes bikes across various segments such as Hunk, Karizma, Glamour, HF Dawn, Splendor NXG, Super Splendor and Achiever. Hero MotoCorp also announced a partnership with the reputed Indy Motos Group of Guatemala to bring its two-wheelers to these markets. Under the alliance, Indy Motos has been appointed as the authorised distributor of Hero MotoCorp range of two-wheelers in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. These products will be distributed through a network of outlets spread across these countries, with more new outlets to be added subsequently. Pawan Munjal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp Ltd, launched brand ‘Hero’ here in the presence of Danello Siekavizza, Director, Indy Motos. Speaking at the glittering ceremony, Munjal noted, “This launch is a significant milestone for us considering this is the first of the new international markets where we are starting our operations.
