Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL), has announced the launch of brand ‘Hero’ and its range of two-wheelers in Guatemala City, El Salvador and Honduras, marking the iconic Indian brand’s first foray into new international markets. The range of Hero two-wheelers being launched in these markets includes bikes across various segments such as Hunk, Karizma, Glamour, HF Dawn, Splendor NXG, Super Splendor and Achiever.
Hero MotoCorp also announced a partnership with the reputed Indy Motos Group of Guatemala to bring its two-wheelers to these markets. Under the alliance, Indy Motos has been appointed as the authorised distributor of Hero MotoCorp range of two-wheelers in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. These products will be distributed through a network of outlets spread across these countries, with more new outlets to be added subsequently.
Pawan Munjal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp Ltd, launched brand ‘Hero’ here in the presence of Danello Siekavizza, Director, Indy Motos.
Speaking at the glittering ceremony, Munjal noted, “This launch is a significant milestone for us considering this is the first of the new international markets where we are starting our operations. It is indicative of the significant role that markets in Central America and Latin America will play in our global expansion plans.
