JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, India’s leading truck- bus radial manufacturer, launched its first state of the art Truck Wheels centre at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The Truck Wheels showroom, a one stop solution for all tyre & wheels related service needs of trucks and buses was inaugurated by A. S. Mehta, Marketing Director, JK Tyre & Industries. Also present at the occasion were Vikram Malhotra, Sr. General Manager-Truck/Bus Radials, V.A.J. Manikantan, GM-Sales and other dignitaries from JK Tyre. The centre at Vijayawada is spread over an area of around 13.500 sq. ft with workshop area, showroom, training rooms etc and has all the modern state of the art facilities & equipments including computerised truck tyre alignment machine, wheel balancing machine, automatic tyre changer, nitrogen inflator and truck tyre repair tools. The showroom will provide a host of value added services to the customers which would in turn help them in cost maintenance, fuel consumption and will also enhance the tyre life. Apart from providing mechanised support to tyre change, as opposed to road-side service, these centres have facilities to offer one stop sales and service support to truckers. A. S.
