Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has moved into a new corporate office on Venkatnarayana Road, T. Nagar, Chennai. Spread across an area of 13,500 square feet, the facility will cater to the growing operations of Nissan in India. The office will house employees of the Program Management team, Corporate Planning, Product Planning, Exports, After Sales, Finance, Communications and Human Resource Functions. Addressing employees while inaugurating the new corporate headquarters for Nissan India, Kiminobu Tokuyama, Managing Director and CEO, NMIPL said, "Today marks yet another significant milestone for us at Nissan, as we move to our new Corporate Office in Chennai. Not only will this new facility aim to meet the requirements of Nissan’s growing operations in India, it is also in line with our strategy to draw synergies with our Alliance partner, Renault whose Corporate Office is housed in the same building.” Nissan’s Mumbai office will continue to act as the regional office with some of the members from the product planning team, the homologation team, after sales and colleagues from Hover Automotive India - Nissan’s strategic alliance partner for sales, marketing, dealer development, after sales and CRM in India.
