Apollo Tyres Ltd announced the launch of its first-ever ‘Apollo Rural Mobile Store’, a pioneering initiative designed to enhance last-mile connectivity and improve access to quality tyre solutions across rural India. The mobile store was flagged off by Rajesh Dahiya, Vice President, Commercial, Apollo Tyres Ltd at a special launch event.
The Apollo Rural Mobile Store is a fully equipped van that travels across villages, enabling customers to explore, understand and purchase tyres without the need to travel long distances. Stocked with a curated range of products and supported by trained representatives, the mobile store provides on-the-spot guidance on tyre selection, usage and maintenance, helping customers make informed decisions suited to their needs.
While the first Apollo Rural Mobile Store was flagged off at Pandavapura village in Mandya, Karnataka, in the southern part of the country, the company plans to roll out 25 such mobile stores across the country in the next 18-24 months.
Dahiya said: “This initiative reflects our commitment to bridging access gaps in rural markets. By bringing our products and expertise directly to the customers’ doorstep, we aim to simplify the buying journey and ensure that even the most remote communities have access to the right mobility solutions.”
In addition to the launch of Rural Mobile Store, the event also featured a free health checkup camp, organised in collaboration with Apollo Tyres Foundation, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community well-being.
