Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced plans to build a new vehicle manufacturing plant in the Bidkin Industrial Area, Maharashtra, India. The new plant is planned to start production in the first half of 2029 and is aimed to strengthen Toyota’s business foundation in the Indian market.
The new plant will be positioned to steadily deliver vehicles not only to customers in India but also to customers in surrounding regions.
Through the new plant, and with the continued support of many stakeholders and local communities, Toyota will continue to contribute to the development of India’s automotive industry and society, a company press release said.
