Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Renault Group, continued its growth momentum with 3,495 units wholesale in February 2026. This marks a sharp 31% year-on-year (YoY) rise compared to 2,676 units sold in the corresponding month of the previous year. In the first two months of 2026 the company has sustained its positive trajectory, registering a solid 32% cumulative growth over the corresponding period of the previous year.
Building on January’s trend, Renault India once again outpaced industry growth for the month. Strong demand for the new Kiger and Triber models continued to fuel growth with the new Triber leading the charge, delivering an impressive 57% YoY increase in February.
Driven by the refreshed Kiger and Triber line up, Renault India has witnessed a positive turnaround in brand favourability, resulting in continuous growth since Q3 CY2025. During this period, the company achieved YoY growth of 9% in Q3 CY25, 27% in Q4 CY25 and 32% in 1st two months of 2026. The recent announcement of the Renault Duster’s return to India has further strengthened consumer sentiment, reflected in increased dealership footfalls.
