Champions of the two wheeler ICE (internal combustion engine) space, TVS Motor Company and Bajaj Auto dominated the electric two wheeler space in 2025. While TVS recorded sales of 298881 units in CY 2025 as compared to 220819 units in CY 2024, Bajaj Auto recorded 269847 units in CY 2025 (193663 units).
According to the latest electric two wheeler retail sales data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), Ather Energy is at No. 3 with 200797 units in calendar year. Ola Electric has seen a steep fall in retail sales (51.11% drop). The company registered retail sales of 199318 units in CY ’25 as compared to 407700 units in CY ’24.
The retail figures as per FADA research do not have the figures from Telangana state (TS) and the vehicle retail data has been collated as on Jan 1, 2026 in collaboration with Morth, Government of India, and has been gathered from 1401 out of 1459 RTOs in the country.
