Big two wheeler players in India like Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Company and Royal Enfield, among others, recorded peak retail sales in 2025, thanks to the festive season and the positive impact of GST 2.0 reforms.
	HONDA MOTORCYCLE & SCOOTER INDIA POSTS 6.50 LAKH UNIT SALES IN OCTOBER 2025
	Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported total sales of 6,50,596 units in October 2025. This includes 5,98,952 units in domestic sales and 51,644 units in exports. HMSI registered a 9% year-on-year (YOY) growth compared to October 2024 and 15% month-on-month (MOM) growth in total sales compared to September 2025.
	For the Year-to-Date (YTD) period of FY26 (April–October2025), HMSI recorded total sales of 36,41,612 units, comprising 32,78,451 units sold domestically and 3,63,161 units exported.
	HERO MOTOCORP RECORDS 635,808 WHOLESALE DISPATCHES
	Hero MotoCorp recorded its second successive month of the festive season with 635,808 wholesale dispatches in October 2025. The positive performance reflects sustained festive momentum and renewed customer confidence, further supported by favorable market conditions, including GST benefits. During the month, the Company also successfully entered the European markets – Italy, Spain, the UK, France, with globally benchmarked Euro5+ compliant models, led by Hunk 440 and Xpulse 200. With its presence in 52 countries and 5 continents, the Company further strengthened its leadership as a preferred mobility partner for millions of customers globally.
	Leading the growth were the Splendor, Xpulse, GlamourX and the entire scooter range powered by Destini, Xoom and Pleasure.
	EV Momentum: VIDA, powered by Hero, continued to record strong growth during the festive months, with approximately 16,000 Vahan registrations in October, 2025, marking a 24% growth over the previous month and over twice the registrations compared to the same period last year.
	Global Business and Expansion
	Hero MotoCorp’s global business reported an exceptional Half-year (H1) performance, delivering 175,997 units and achieving 54% Y-o-Y growth compared to the same period last year, thereby gaining a significant global market share of 1.4%. In October 2025, the company reported global sales of 30,979 units, marking a 42.8% growth over the same period last year.

	TVS MOTOR COMPANY ACHIEVES HIGHEST EVER MONTHLY SALES IN OCTOBER 2025
	TVS Motor Company recorded monthly sales of 543,557 units in October 2025 with a growth of 11% as against 489,015 units in October 2024.
	Two-Wheeler
	Total two-wheelers registered a growth of 10% with sales increasing from 478,159 units in October 2024 to 525,150 units in October 2025. Domestic two-wheeler registered growth of 8% with sales increasing from 390,489 units in October 2024 to 421,631 units in October 2025.
	Motorcycle registered a growth of 16% with sales increasing from 230,822 units in October 2024 to 266,715 units in October 2025. Scooter registered a growth of 7% with sales increasing from 193,439 units in October 2024 to 205,919 units in October 2025.
	Electric Vehicle
	EV registered a growth of 11% with sales increasing from 29,308 units in October 2024 to 32,387 units in October 2025. While the retails continue to be robust, magnet availability continue to pose challenges in the short to medium term.
	International Business
	The Company's sales in international business registered a growth of 21% with sales increasing from 95,708 units in October 2024 to 115,806 units in October 2025. Two-wheeler sales grew by 18% increasing from 87,670 units in October 2024 to 103,519 units in October 2025.
	Three-Wheeler
	Three-wheeler registered a growth of 70% with sales increasing from 10,856 units in October 2024 to 18,407 units in October 2025.
	ROYAL ENFIELD CLOCKS RECORD BREAKING SALES OF 1,24,951 UNITS IN OCTOBER
	Royal Enfield achieved its highest-ever festive performance, crossing a remarkable milestone of over 2.49 lakh motorcycles sold during the festive months of September and October with 26% growth over the same period last year. In October alone, the company posted monthly sales of 1,24,951 motorcycles, registering a 13% growth over the same period last year. Royal Enfield also exported 8,107 motorcycles during the month.
