Leading industrial and automotive supplier, Schaeffler India Limited announced the flag-off of the second leg of Repxpert Mobile Aftermarket Technical Training Van. The Repxpert training van will cover 36 key cities over a period of 90 days. The van is a center of advanced knowledge in areas across transmission, engine, and chassis systems. The training van returns after its first successful run in 2019.
This time, the van will feature a free eye check-up campaign in all 36 cities for mechanics and garage workers, facilitated by pioneering social organization – Vision Spring. This enables Schaeffler to create access to cost-free eyewear to mechanics living in low socio-economic areas.
Debasish Satpathy, President, Automotive Aftermarket, Schaeffler India said, “Our Repxpert Training Van is a pioneer approach to our initiative of up-skilling workshops and promote technical competencies among our mechanic partners. It will keep them ready for fast-paced future technology developments. This time we have added the eye check-up camp along with this van since we fully understand that Mechanics are exposed to continuous eye strain while fitting components. Through this initiative, we are humbled to create cost-free access to quality eye care.”
