Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL),the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan recorded overall sales of 76,230units in July 2022, registering a year-on-year sales growth of 4.3% as compared to July 2021. The company sold 60,892 units in the domestic market and exported 15,338 units in July 2022.
Notably, this month also saw Suzuki Motorcycle India starting the deliveries of its recently launched big bike, Katana. Commenting on the sales performance, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. said, “In July 2022, we recorded 76,230 units sale, which translated to 4.3% growth as compared to the same month last year. This sales number shows an increasing demand for Suzuki two-wheeler products in India and overseas. With the gradual improvement in the supply chain, we expect to keep witnessing this sales momentum in future too.”
