Okinawa Autotech electric two-wheeler manufacturer has surpassed 100,000 domestic sales of its high-speed and low-speed models. The sales momentum this year has primarily been driven by the hugely popular and locally manufactured iPraise+ and Praise Pro which commanded a nearly 60-70 per cent share of the yearly sales.
In order to meet the growing demand for its scooters, the company expanded its dealerships to over 400 catering to metro cities as well as Tier 2, Tier 3 and rural markets in India. In November, the company launched Okinawa Galaxy - a state-of-the-art experience centre in Uttarakhand. At Okinawa Galaxy, customers can experience the products and the story behind its making.
The futuristic tech experience centre is a lively, perceptible and interactive space, where the customers get to experience the brand from its very inception. It has plans to open 50 more Galaxy Stores pan India in the coming year.
Okinawa has lined up a total investment of Rs 500 crore through the next three years. In the first phase, a sum of Rs 250 crore will be invested in the first year and gradually increased over the coming years. Okinawa is the first and only electric two-wheeler maker to have its own assembly line for motors and controls. With this, its localisation will be near 100 per cent barring battery cells, which will continue to be imported. Okinawa is all set to launch its all New High Speed Scooter next year in the first Quarter of the year .

We remain committed in our endeavour to serve our consumers with exciting new launches and curated experiences.” Okinawa has retained its position as the second most selling E2W in India.
