Just one month after the comprehensive go-local strategy was announced by Jeep brand, Jeep India has commenced local assembling of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler in its Ranjangaon joint venture manufacturing facility.
Jeep Wrangler has an unmatched combination of off-road capability, authentic Jeep design, open-air freedom, advanced fuel-efficient powertrains, superior on- and off-road dynamics, and a host of innovative safety and advanced technology features.
“Jeep has always represented the ultimate in capability and open-air freedom, and we are incredibly proud that our Made-in-India Wrangler protects that important legacy in the market,” said Partha Datta, Managing Director – Jeep India.
“The Jeep Wrangler is the second out of the four localised products we committed to launch in India. We wanted to make the world’s most recognised SUV even more accessible to our Indian customers and we are pleased to be able to meet their aspirations.”
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler is now available for pre-booking before going on sale exclusively in India on March 15, 2021, in 26 dealerships across the country. Pricing and specifications for the 2021 Made-in-India Jeep Wrangler will be announced at market launch.

To meet consumer demand around the world, all Jeep models sold outside North America are available in both left- and right-hand drive configurations and with gasoline and diesel powertrain options.
