two wheeler company Hero Electric has announced its partnership with
Delhi-based start-up Earth Ride, to provide e-bikes to the youth of the country
searching for new business enterprises.
Ride’s unique model of Lease-Earn-Own allows the individual who might not have
the capital to buy a new electric scooter to start working immediately as a
delivery partner with any of the delivery companies or for their own

riders on a long-term lease. It will procure over 1,000 customised Nyx-HX and
other e-scooters through the next financial year (2021).Earth Ride has
partnered with other small-mid-sized companies, including companies such as
Zomato and have provided special lease price for Zomato riders.
Ride and Hero Electric have partnered to not only bring down pollution levels
in our cities but provide an avenue of livelihood for the youth of this
country. India is the world’s youngest country with 230 million people in the
age bracket of 15-24 who are also joining the world of gig-economy. This model
allows individuals to work hard and make their own lives, earning accordingly.

lease payments as per the established contract, they will be allowed the
opportunity to own the vehicle at the end of the said lease period. Earth Ride

allows a person, who might not have the capital to buy a new electric scooter
to start working immediately as a delivery partner with any of the delivery
